April 1998
- An open house was held on April 26, 1998., with 113 persons in
attendance. Most of these people were from various Christian Church and
Christ of Christ congregations across the state of Louisiana (as well as
Biloxi, MS). These individuals, as well as others in Georgia, Alabama,
Indiana, West Virginia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Texas
encouraged this work with their financial support and prayers to make this
acquisition and renovation possible. Special appreciation is expressed
for the Louisiana Evangelizing Association for helping begin the work in
Mandeville. LEA paid the salary for the evangelist, which enabled the
church to purchase the property.
